The Chairs of the committee represent your interests at the College of Fine Arts Council.
The Chairs and FAF Grant Representative of the committee are voting members of FAF Grants, which allots funding to College of Fine Arts Student Organizations.
The Chairs and FAF Grant Representative of the committee assist with the Retention, Promotion, and Tenure Process in the School of Music.
The Chairs of the committee serve on Academic Appeals Panels for the College of Fine Arts, where appointed by the Chair of the Academic Appeals Committee.

Appointments to SAC are made by the Chairs of the Committee. Join the Student Advisory Committee and help build the School of Music community; submit an application for review.
The Student Advisory has two chairs, the Undergraduate and the Graduate Chair. Together, they are the leaders of the Student Advisory Committee. They have responsibilities to the School of Music and to the College of Fine Arts. The responsibilities of each chair are outlined in the SAC Constitution .
The FAF Grants Representative is a member of the Student Advisory Committee. They are elected as the third FAF Grants Representative for the School of Music in addition to the two committee chairs. They also serve in other capacities as outlined by the SAC constitution , such as in RPT-SAC reviews.
SAC Departmental offices are offices of leadership within the Student Advisory Committee. The Student Advisory Committee is directed by the Undergraduate Chair and Graduate Chair, who may appoint Members of the Committee to serve in Departmental Offices such as Secretary or Social Media Coordinator. Each position has responsibilities that enable the committee to function efficiently. The roles and responsibilities for departmental offices are outlined in the SAC Constitution .
